The Ascent of CB 13 Peak

CB 13 Peak rises to 6,264 meters in the remote Lahaul region of Himachal Pradesh and is part of the famous CB Peaks group, known for serious technical mountaineering challenges.

The route involves glacier approaches, steep snow faces, exposed rocky ridges, and demanding rope sections, offering a true expedition-style Himalayan climb.

Camps are established progressively at Base Camp (4,430m), Camp 1 (4,810m), and Summit Camp (5,600m), allowing climbers to acclimatize and prepare for the technical summit push.

Summit day is long and physically demanding, often lasting up to 13 hours, requiring strong endurance, technical efficiency, and mental resilience.

The remote setting of CB 13 offers isolation and a pure alpine environment, making it a rare and authentic Himalayan mountaineering experience.

Led by certified high-altitude guides, the expedition follows strict safety protocols, fixed rope systems, and careful weather-based decision-making.
