Markha Valley Trek Itinerary – 9-Day Classic Ladakhi Trek Through Monasteries and High Passes

1
Leh (3,500m) to Zingchen (3,400m) and Trek to Yurutse (3,550m)
Start the day with a 4-5 hours drive from Leh to Zingchen.
Begin trekking towards Yurutse, passing through the Hemis National Park known for its diverse flora and fauna.
Traverse the picturesque Rumbak village.
Camp overnight at Yurutse.

Yurutse (3,550m) to Skiu (3,350m)
Embark on a 6-7 hours trek to Skiu, crossing the Ganda La pass.

Skiu (3,350m) to Markha (3,800m)

Trek for 5-6 hours towards Thachungtse, passing through lush meadows.

Thachungtse (4,050m) to Nimaling (4,750m)
Trek for 3-4 hours to Nimaling, a high-altitude grazing area with stunning views.
